The Hangover’s “Stu’s Song” a dark horse Oscar candidate for Best Original Song? Entertainment Weekly’s Aly Semigran thinks so. It is, as he notes, an “unexpectedly melodic” tune. Besides, if Gene Hackman can beat Walter Mathau in Kotch for Best Actor, then I guess anything’s f*cking possible.
It at least deserves a nomination, if only so it can be performed at the Oscars.
